Why Pancha Karma? 

Detoxification is an essential part of quality preventive healthcare. However it is also both the most underestimated and abused proces in its modern western application. In Western conventional allopathic tradition it is veritably ignored as a factor in health care. Common problems such as cold, flues, headaches are often signals that detoxification is warranted. But too often medical practitioners recommend  and people use medication to mask or eliminate their discomfort from these symptoms rather than address root causes. And thus can make the problems worse and lead to chronic degenerative disease, the prescription for which is stronger medication or surgery needed. If we think of how modern medicine can create artificial hips and plastic bones and manyy other techniques but what if the body is more than just a mechanical instrument, in Ayurveda and Yoga we speak of the wisdom in every cell of the body, a wisdom to which the conscious mind apparently has no access….

 

What is Pancha Karma?
 
Pancha Karma is an Ayurvedic treatment for intens deep cleansing and rejuvenating  program under supervision of a team. It is an effective treatment for various diseases. The program includes daily warm oil massages, herbal steam therapies, lymphatic massages, herbal enemas, nasal administration. It is a proces used to clean the body of toxic materials left by decease, poor nutritions and environmental toxins. Normally the body has the innate ability to eficienctly process and remove these waste materials. However, due to ones repeated dietary indiscretions, poor exercise patterns, lifestyle and genetic predisposition, hormones, ... becomes the internal homeostasis of the body disorganized. This can lead to the accumulation and spreading of toxines throughout the body and give rise to diseases. In Pancha Karma we purify the tissues at a deep level by opening the channels for elimination (The colon, the stomack, the bladder, the intestines, …)All the substances of the body who are sticky and harmful need to be completely evacuated from the body. Just as detoxification is part of pancha karma, so is rejuvenation.  To be youthful or vital in one state of mind is universally considered a worthy and reachable goal. Slowing down or reversing the aging proces is possible.
